In the exhibition, you learn about Adenauer’s life story through exciting exhibits in their historical context. The biography of the first Federal Chancellor makes five epochs of German history tangible.
Our free guided tours and workshops are suitable for all groups, school types and age groups. They are designed to be interactive and encourage reflection and discussion about history and politics.
The programme is individually tailored to the needs of your group. We are happy to advise you on the most suitable project and on possible focal points.
Workshops
Submit your enquiry here for an interactive workshop in Adenauerhaus Rhöndorf. You are welcome to arrange a core theme with us relating to the life and politics of Konrad Adenauer. Possible topics include the German-French reconciliation and the European unification, German ties to the West and the Cold War or “reparations” and the historical responsibility for Israel.
Generally a workshop consists of a guided tour, a group work phase and a presentation phase. The programmes last between two-and-a-half and six hours, depending on the group’s time budget.
